Triathlon News

Rio Salado Triathlon
May 23 marks the date of the first Rio Salado Triathlon. It's an Olympic distance race held at Tempe Town Lake with the finish line located at Tempe Beach Park. Following the age group race there will be professional men's and women's races as part of the Race to Athens Series. It presents a unique opportunity to watch the some of the world's top triathletes compete for Olympic slots. For more details click HERE.

Landis Tri Club
The Landis Triathlon Club is underway and always open to new members. The club is a fantastic way for novice triathletes to learn how to improve their skills. As an added perk, club members are entitled to exclusive discounts and benefits at Scottsdale Running Company. There are monthly club meetings at Landis Cyclery on the NE corner of Warner and Rural Roads. There are also several organized workouts every week. For more details click HERE.

Volunteer Thank You

Scottsdale Running Co. would like to extend a HUGE “thank-you” to the select group of people who have donated their time to local races and events SRC sponsored this year.

As probably all of you know, how smoothly a race goes off depends largely upon the strength of its volunteers. These people hand out water, make sure no one makes a wrong turn, and pick up the mess afterward on race day. If you happen to see or know any of these people, please join us in thanking them whole-heartedly for a job well done!
