RUNNING BUDDY RECRUITMENT

Share a young girl's exhilaration and excitement as she crosses the finish line of her first 5k. For many girls, this is the biggest challenge and biggest accomplishment of Girls on the Run...and one of their favorite parts is having their very own "Running Buddy" by their side! The job of a "Running Buddy" is to accompany and encourage one or two girls through her 5k experience.

Saturday, April 29th: Girls on the Run "Diva Dash" a 5K will be held at Kiwanis Park at 8am. Being a running buddy means running or walking at your buddy's pace and encouraging her to do her best, but also recognizing and respecting her limits. This is a one-time commitment, but each "Running Buddy" is welcome and encouraged to visit her girl's program as well. Click HERE for more details.

Night Run for the Arts

Saturday May 6, marks this year's edition of the Scottsdale Night Run/Walk for the Arts. This unique fun filled event starts and finishes at the Scottsdale Center for the Arts Amphitheater. Events will include an 8K, 3 mile, 1 mile, and a non-competitive art stroll.

After you finish your event, come celebrate in the park with live music. A food line is provided for all participants, with additional libations, food & beverages for sale.
